Google has already been using AI to help us with creatives in the account, but today I noticed the all-in-one place studio link under Tools.
It’s not in all my accounts, so as usual, some are getting it and some are not.
It has soe cool things you should know about, and if you don’t see it yet in your account, make sure to check it out when it’s out of beta.
Google Asset studio
You can find the studio when you click on Tools. It’s the first link and you are taken directly to it.

I imagine this will expand in the future and will become a creative place for all your assets. Having AI suggestions while creating campaigns is great, but sometimes I find myself more distracted with all these options, and I just want to finish setting up the campaign.
So I would prefer this, a place where I come to create all my assets and then just use it in the campaign. But that’s me.
As you can see from the image you can:
- create/edit images
- create product images
- bulk edit images
- create videos
- trim videos
- add voice-overs (this is interesting)
Let’s explore each.
Create new images with Asset studio
Image generation is based on prompt, so we know it’s Google’s AI under the hood. I know a lot depends on your promting skills, so I will use something very simple just to see how Google reacts.

Honestly, that’s pretty good. And I know other AIs can do that, or maybe better, but this is something right in your account. Also, I love that it generated two images. So you have a choice.
I wanted an image with a known product, so it did its job. You can easily use this image in your ads. No more designers and “borrowing” images from the internet.
Create product images
This feature I love. It’s the same prompt, but I assume it’s been modified a little bit to have a focus on product images. So I uploaded 3 pictures of sneakers and asked it to generate product images.

First, it gives a lot more options to choose from, which makes sense, since the prompt was on a vague side. Also, you can have several pictures on the product page.

As you can see, it’s not perfect, but who is? The quality and resolution are really good. Here’s one of the images generated.

You have to admin, this looks great and can be used in the ad or just as an additional image on your product page. Additionally, you can use it as a lifestyle image in your Merchant Center account.
Edit and bulk edit images
Editing an image is great, but I love the bulk editing option. It saves a lot of time and again gives you endless options. So I took the same sneakers and asked it to change the background for all of them.
I asked to change the background so that the shows appear on a basketball court.

The first image is not good, the second is OK, and the last one is on the money. Sure, I could improve the promt and probably get better results. The keyword here is “bulk”. You can select a lot of pictures and ask it to remove the background. Or replace with the same color background. The possibilies are endless.
And sure, it will make mistakes, but give it time and you will soon be saving lot’s of hours and money spent on designers.
Trimming videos in AI Studio
It’s not what you think. We probably know what trimming means, and your first thought is that you can take a video and make it shorter. Yes, with a small caveat.
You will be presented with two options: either upload a video or select one from YouTube. The last one is pretty cool, as you can select any video. As long as it’s under 5 minutes.

But as you can see from the picture, it’s not like you can edit the video and trim it how you want it. Google will trim it for you depending on the length you want. It’s cool when you want to launch Shorts and have one long video. I uploaded a 1-minute video, and it gave me several variations. And I have to admit, it’s pretty good.

Makes your job a lot easier. And you can use all for videos, which is amazing if you run ads. You will be able to compare which performs better.
Creating videos in AI Google Studio
Where trimming shines, creating videos fails. I was excited about the video creation part. I thought they would use Veo to generate videos from prompts and instantly use them in your ads. Nope. It’s just templates, and honestly, not very good ones.

I guess if you don’t know how to use other AI tools, it’s something you could explore. But in my opinion, this is a last resort, like, very last. Honestly, I don’t even want to write about it as it is a waste of my and your time.
Adding voice over
This is exactly what you think, but the voice-over is generated with AI. Similar to trimming videos, you can edit your own video and give it a link to any video. Then write a text, select a voice, tinker with other settings, and you will have a voice-over.

It’s a specific feature, but I know when it’s amazing. It’s when you work with multiple countries, and sometimes it is hard to get a video in all the languages you want to run ads for. It either takes too long or the client doesn’t want to spend more money on localizing the videos.
Haven’t tested it yet, but looking forward.
There is also an option to generate audio ad. I don’t think this is the right place to put it, but I guess Google also did not know where to put this option.

If you have ever run audio ads, you will know what it is. For others, this probably won’t be used often, if at all. Mostly, these are branding ads. And from my experience, I haven’t seen a good performance. On the other hand, I focus mostly on performance marketing and ot branding, so not the best person to judge this feature.
So there you have it. All in all, amazing decision to put everything in one place. I think it will evolve and improve. I do hope that video generation comes soon enough as the tempaltes are a no go.
